This condo is immaculate and beautifully furnished, providing everything one would need! The living area is extremely spacious, with lots of windows and amazing views of the water! We so enjoyed the 2 separate balconies. We appreciated the safe, gated garage for parking our car, but also loved the fact that this unit was in walking distance of so many fabulous shops and places to eat. We would definitely love to stay again when we return to Bellingham!

We stayed in several vacation homes on this recent excursion to Washington state and this was (by far) our favorite. The pictures do not do it justice- everything was gorgeous and pristine.

To sit in the living room area - absorbing the phenomenal view while sipping coffee was one of my favorite parts of the trip. I highly recommend!!!

Fairhaven Tower was a wonderful place to stay! We almost never drove since the grocery store, coffee shops, church, restaurants, parks, and several local attractions were all well within walking distance. The property is BEAUTIFUL - truly exceeded our expectations. The owners were kind and responsive and the check in process was so easy (and flexible! Which helped for our midnight arrival). Our four young kiddos had some extra energy the day after our cross country flight which isn’t ideal for the neighbors below. Luckily we were able to find plenty of places for them to burn energy during the day around town for the rest of our trip. Highly recommend this property, and for a longer stay than our 4 days as there is so much to do!!

beds and scented cleaning supplies:

This was a great spot overall. The only items I would recommend improving upon are the beds and the scented cleaning supplies.

The beds were extremely soft and clearly synthetic materials/fabrics as they retained heat and didn't feel very breathable. I recognize that firmness is a preference-so maybe for someone who enjoys a soft bed this is perfect.

Upon entry, there was a strong scent of the cleaning supplies. It was a vanilla-like scent, not a chemical scent but still very offensive. I recommend using fragrance free cleaning products as scents can often be very personal and very offensive depending on the person.

Otherwise, it was a great stay!

Whole process had excellent communication and we would love to stay again! Great view, all beds were comfortable and there were plenty of extra comforters/pillows to accommodate various comfort-levels. Our host ran into a most understandable problem -- namely the air conditioning broke the day we were going to check in and as such was not going to be available, on a weekend when a heat wave was forecast. We called to ask for a refund, and there was NO problem with that. We were refunded, and the host was gracious. We never stayed in the unit, but our brief time there would say it was elegant, and the view was fantastic, and although we were sad that AC was broken and we would head home, the whole thing was handled with compassion and proper attention. We are grateful.

Our 20-20 hindsight perspective might be that it would have been preferable for us to get the news earlier by text or AirBandB message than only learning about it on arrival, but I can completely appreciate how hard it is to make that determination. Had I been the host, I might have handled it exactly the same way.

I hope to book this property again in the future, when either the AC is working or when there is unlikely to be a heatwave in the offing!

The Historic Fairhaven condo was the perfect place for our family of four!

We enjoyed fantastic views of the Puget Sound and our proximity to things (like parks, hiking trails, waterfront, food, coffee, and shopping) helped us make the most of time in Bellingham.

Rosemary is a gracious host. The detailed check-in and check-out instructions were easy to follow. The condo also had many thoughtful amenities.

This place is spacious and each room is on opposite sides of the open concept kitchen/living/dining space, giving some privacy.
