The Fairhaven Tower is a newly constructed building located in the historic district of Bellingham Washington. Location, location location they say and the tower has it being centrally located to all Fairhaven has to offer. Shopping, markets, coffee bars, restaurants, bakeries and so much more. The flowing layout of the Penthouse suite makes it easy for you and your guests to enjoy. There are three spacious bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms all decorated with a comfortable and luxurious feel. The master bedroom has a king size bed and walk in closet along with a private bathroom. The other two bedrooms have Queen size beds with spacious closets and just outside the bedroom doors are the other bathroom. There are two spectacular sitting areas with one featuring a warm and welcoming gas fireplace. The dream kitchen is designed for convenience while providing an open air modern feel. The appliances are perfect for the inspired home chef should you decide to create a light snack of a gourmet meal. The large dinning table seats 8 comfortably with extra seating at the kitchen island. Okay, now for my favorite part, the view and my goodness what a view. Post-card perfect does not do it justice with a view from almost every room. While relaxing on one of the two decks you can look out on the ever changing waters of Bellingham Bay and in the evening bless your eyes on some of the most magnificent sunsets you will ever see. The neighborhood is enchanting with so many things to see and do. The ferry terminal is a short walk away. If you love to ski then take a short drive to Mount Baker. Hikers will love the Interurban trail, Mount Baker, Lake Padden, Chuckanut Mountain just to name of few. Mountain biking you say well we have one of the best places close by called Galbraith Mountain. The Tower has secure storage for your bikes and kayaks should you bring those along. Go on a whale watching tour, sunset dinner cruise, crabbing or clamming. The Penthouse suite is the perfect location to call home and fortunately not located in a big city where the cost would be double. Treat yourself and relax, rejuvenate and enjoy this beauty by the bay.

Cancellation Policy
Cancellations made 31 days or more prior to your arrival date are subject to a $50.00 cancellation fee in addition to the non-refundable booking fee. Cancellations made 30 days or less prior to your arrival date will be refunded only for the dates that are re-booked, less the normal cancellation fee and booking fee. If we are not able to re-book your stay you will not be refunded any portion of your rental payments.
There will be no refund or adjustments for late check-in, early departure, weather conditions, family emergency or dissatisfaction. In the event a guest is dissatisfied with a property they should notify the front desk immediately as the sole responsibility of Vacationville Birch Bay is to correct any situation as soon as practically possible.
Deposit Policy
Vacationville Birch Bay requires a deposit of 25% of the total amount of your reservation to confirm. Your credit card will be charged the 25% deposit immediately following credit card approval. Please review our Cancellation Policy prior to making this reservation.

Fairhaven Tower was a wonderful place to stay! We almost never drove since the grocery store, coffee shops, church, restaurants, parks, and several local attractions were all well within walking distance. The property is BEAUTIFUL - truly exceeded our expectations. The owners were kind and responsive and the check in process was so easy (and flexible! Which helped for our midnight arrival). Our four young kiddos had some extra energy the day after our cross country flight which isn’t ideal for the neighbors below. Luckily we were able to find plenty of places for them to burn energy during the day around town for the rest of our trip. Highly recommend this property, and for a longer stay than our 4 days as there is so much to do!!

beds and scented cleaning supplies:
This was a great spot overall. The only items I would recommend improving upon are the beds and the scented cleaning supplies.
The beds were extremely soft and clearly synthetic materials/fabrics as they retained heat and didn't feel very breathable. I recognize that firmness is a preference-so maybe for someone who enjoys a soft bed this is perfect.
Upon entry, there was a strong scent of the cleaning supplies. It was a vanilla-like scent, not a chemical scent but still very offensive. I recommend using fragrance free cleaning products as scents can often be very personal and very offensive depending on the person.
Otherwise, it was a great stay!

Our host ran into a most understandable problem -- namely the air conditioning broke the day we were going to check in and as such was not going to be available, on a weekend when a heat wave was forecast. We called to ask for a refund, and there was NO problem with that. We were refunded, and the host was gracious. We never stayed in the unit, but our brief time there would say it was elegant, and the view was fantastic, and although we were sad that AC was broken and we would head home, the whole thing was handled with compassion and proper attention. We are grateful.
Our 20-20 hindsight perspective might be that it would have been preferable for us to get the news earlier by text or AirBandB message than only learning about it on arrival, but I can completely appreciate how hard it is to make that determination. Had I been the host, I might have handled it exactly the same way.
I hope to book this property again in the future, when either the AC is working or when there is unlikely to be a heatwave in the offing!

The Historic Fairhaven condo was the perfect place for our family of four!
We enjoyed fantastic views of the Puget Sound and our proximity to things (like parks, hiking trails, waterfront, food, coffee, and shopping) helped us make the most of time in Bellingham.
Rosemary is a gracious host. The detailed check-in and check-out instructions were easy to follow. The condo also had many thoughtful amenities.
