My family and I stayed at this vacation home for the holidays and it was a wonderful time. We really appreciate how accommodating they were. They were on top of everything and so friendly. My family loved the place. True to photos, but only beach walking when tide is out. No beach walk at this end of Birch Bay. Close to shopping for groceries. Great space for cooking. Uber clean. Neighborhood felt “safe”. The host was very responsive. Found it a bit pricey, but the property worked well for us.

The house was perfectly fine. It had a nice great room layout, large bedrooms and was clean.
But I think it could be great with some updates. The linens and towels were below average and given the location across from the bay, it would be great if they would consider some window treatments that let in light but allow for privacy and windows with screens. The porch-level open windows felt too easy for a toddler to escape or something else to come in. The lighting throughout the home was all mixed color temperatures, which I know sounds picky, but that stark "hospital white" over the kitchen table does kill the vibe of a family meal. It's those little things that matter when you're on vacation.
This was a last-minute booking for us, and I should have thought more carefully about the road. Ideally, I would have loved to let my 3 kids play at the shore while I cooked and watched from the window, but the road was too high traffic for that. I'm sure others won't mind the super quick walk.

This listing was only stand out because of the closeness to the water. It was pretty bare bones inside. Not bad, just wish we would’ve known in advance eg: no coffee filters, blankets, paper towel, cleaning products. The rugs in the main living room are fairly dirty, didn’t feel clean walking around in bare feet. Would we stay again? Yes, knowing what to bring from home but it wouldn’t be our first choice.

Perfect place for our family of 6! Gorgeous view, relaxing and spacious home. Well-appointed kitchen to provide Thanksgiving dinner, and any last minute items were available nearby at corner store or the grocery store 10 min away. My kids, 10 & 6, enjoyed the French doors bedroom off the living room, and the master suite is private and has a lovely jacuzzi and step-in shower with seats (which my older parents enjoyed). Everything was VERY clean, if somewhat outdated/sparse, but we really appreciated all the storage space in every room. We woke up to gorgeous sunrises and the sound of ducks on the water, we ate lunch on a lovely sunny day on the deck. Watched a storm come in from the islands. Yes there IS WIFI!! And a Roku tv. Host was very responsive and thoughtful, providing a new roasting pan and serving platters for the holiday meal. Quiet area, neighbor was nice. We're already talking about our return!

What a great location! We loved the indoor and outdoor space … plenty of room even with a “full house.” Nicely appointed kitchen, lots of towels and very comfy beds. Also, a very responsive management team. We will definitely book again … hopefully in the summer!

Terrific huge house across from the water. Lots of space, comfortable beds and an amazing jetted bathtub. Close enough to shops and restaurants, far away enough to not be disturbed by traffic. Very clean and well appointed. Rosemary was quick to respond to questions and gave great recommends for dining out.

We loved this little place off the bay. Our big group stayed there no problem and it was close to all the things we wanted to do and see.

This is a great place for a family day trip too. The bay going out so far in front of you is really cool to walk out on.

The only thing this AZ kid needed was to get used to no ac. Other than that it was great.

The beach house was a wonderful place for our family to stay! When you walk in the views out the front are amazing!
We had four adults and one child staying there, and two adults with one child came to visit and there was comfortable seating for all. The bedrooms were comfortable and well stocked, as well as the two bathrooms. Everything was very clean, good assortment of seating and chairs, nice table to eat at. The kitchen and bathrooms were well supplied with paper goods, etc. The beach was very nice just across the street, sandy with rocks and driftwood and we spent many hours there. Nice to have the deck in front to sit at as well. The kitchen was good, well stocked with dishes, glasses, pots, pans, etc. No food or condiments, but we always bring our own and don't expect that. The TV worked fine, more than enough channels for the little we watched it. Nice touches of decorations throughout the house.
It was very quiet, even being on the road. We had a little trouble with the furnace - getting it to work and not too noisy, but that was pretty unimportant and we were comfortable. With three bedrooms and the quality of the home, the price was reasonable. Our family all really liked the home as well. We would definitely go back!

Wonderful location in Birch Bay. The outdoor deck seating/dining area is lovely, looking out on to the water. Cross the street and you're on the beach, exploring the tides.

The house is very clean, but spare in amenities. If you're planning to cook, you'd need to bring your own spices. We also wished for a few more bath towels, hand towels, blankets, etc.

Other useful info:
The TV has an hdmi port, so if you bring a cable, you can play movies off a personal laptop without WiFi.

The driveway can fit 3 cars, a 4th car would obstruct the exit path for the rest.

The bedroom closest to the kitchen/living room has two glass doors, so it is not as private as the other two.

Overall, we greatly enjoyed our time!
