We really enjoyed our stay! Great long weekend and all the extras really made us feel comfortable. Will be booking again.
We had a comfortable stay here. My kids loved the pool and I loved walking along the beach. It was also a convenient location for a day trip up to Vancouver and the Capilano suspension bridges.
thank you. great place to stay. and awesome view.
Excellent host and condo! Loved the break and walks along the water. Great restaurants walking distance or within minutes drive if more is wanted. Quiet surrounds, never heard our neighbors.
Location was great, close to the water with a gorgeous view of Mount Baker from the sliders! Host was very helpful and pleasant! Everything was perfect, except my failure to read (though clearly stated) that there was no A/C on a hot hot weekend. Thankfully the host left some portable fans to help. Would definitely book again!
Amazing place! Wonderful view of Mt. Baker and love having the beach across the road!
Great stay!
Great place to hang out for a vacation.
Great location in Birch Bay. Easy check in. Wi-Fi was great. Vacationville is nice. There were no issues and everything was wonderful.
We loved how quiet this place was. We were there to visit relatives in Lynden. Great internet, clean, and the sofa was comfortable. We did not use the upstairs loft master bedroom at all. The bathrooms are definitely on the small side, but very usable. I was able to reserve very last minute so for the price, I think it was appropriate. This place was cozy, however not a high end hotel, so keep that in mind. Since it was an upstairs unit it there was a great view of Mt. Baker. We did sit out on the porch two nights, and enjoyed that as well. I was planning on BBQing and cooking more, but with the relatives nearby it wasn't possible. There was oil, and spices provided which was perfect for cooking breakfast. A good size refrigerator which was stocked with bottled water and peanut M&M's.
We went down the watch the sunset every night. We did not eat at the local restaurants, which were easily within walking distance. There was a great walkway on the main road that we were able to get in an hour walk each morning. Very little traffic on the weekdays, however Sunday there was an uptick on the amount of people there. The grocery store on the corner was quite pricey, and would suggest buying groceries before you get into Birch Bay.
We have stayed at Jacob’s Landing quite a few times, always in the front units and always with the pool open, so were not sure how it would go. The Mountain Sunrise View was stunning, I would not hesitate to stay here again! With the beach and early warm spell, we did not miss the pool and hot tub, but swam daily at the beach! The view of Mount Baker framed by trees made a wonderful start to the day. We spent each day on the beach, coming back for showers and food. The kitchen was well stocked with the usual, and more-the Kind Bars came in handy when our group took a while to organize meals. The washer and drier worked wonders on our wet towels and clothing. Plenty of blankets and a nice ceiling fan kept us comfortable at night. We will come again for sure!
