Vacationville’s Fees

For a general idea, the basic fee structure is as follows:
Vacation rentals (30 days or less including weekly stays)
The homeowner receives 70% of the rental amount and Vacationville receives 30%. Vacationville’s commission includes, but is not limited to:
- Unit promoted on Vacationville website
- Advertising & Marketing
- Taking reservations
- Collecting rents
- Payment of sales tax and B&O tax
- Check in and check out procedures
- Housekeeping – includes laundering of linens and towels, chemicals for cleaning, payroll for housekeepers, toilet paper, paper towels and inspectors.
- Unit Supplies – including items such as dishwashing liquid, bar soap, dishwasher tabs, coffee filters and other useable items.
Extended stay (reservations 30 days or longer)
We recognize that often times there is a need for extended stay. Someone could be working in the area and need a place for 6-10 weeks or someone could have relocated and would like to rent for 3-4 months. These rentals typically occur during our slow time of year and not during the high rent, high volume summer months.
Extended stay monthly rentals (that do not require weekly cleaning) the homeowner receives 85% of the rental amount and Vacationville receives 15%. Vacationville’s commission includes, but is not limited to:
- Background and credit checks
- Collection of rents
- Re-conditioning of the property once the guest has vacated
- Marketing the property
- Showing of the property
Other Fees
Vacationville also collects a month maintenance fee from owners of $20.00. Please see Maintenance Plan for a detailed description of this fee.
